On Wednesday, the Indo Tibetan border police took charge of the COVID-19 care facility. The ITBP was asked to take over by the Union home ministry after Home Minister Amit Shah in a meeting assured Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that ITBP will take care of this centre which can accommodate 10,000 patients. Here's what you can expect at the centre, which is spread over an area of 12,50,000 square feet - as large as 22 football fields.

Security forces have apprehended more than a dozen Naxals after a gun-battle which left an Indo-Tibetan Border Police jawan dead in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district. The Naxals, including two of their top operatives, have been apprehended from Pattamwadvi jungle of the district after a five-day-long joint operation by the ITBP and state police which ended on Thursday. ITBP constable Bhoop Singh, who sustained bullet wounds in the attack, succumbed to his injuries later.
